Meet Hyde Park Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Freyberg

I was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois and knew, even before graduation, that dentistry meant making a life-long commitment to furthering my knowledge and understanding of the profession. I am also a continuing education teacher and lecturer. I have taught dentists around the world about Lumineers® and conservative cosmetic dentistry. I also teach dentists how to treat sleep apnea and snoring, through alternatives to CPAP therapy. I grew up in Chicago, IL and spent my early career practicing dentistry there. About six years ago, I sold my Skokie, IL practice and moved to Arizona, where I love the sunshine and the change of scenery. Being around my grandkids is also wonderful. My wife and best friend, Marla, is a nurse. I have six children, Michael, Nicole, Jill, Beth, Josh, and Jordana; and four grandchildren, Elanah, Nadya, Joe, and Miriam. Lola the Boxer, and Seymour and Daphne the cats, fill in the rest of the crew. Once you add in the sons-in-law, it’s a busy life. My favorite times are those spent with my grandkids and other loved ones. I’m new to the sport of golf and am already an addict. Bike riding, whether on my own, with Marla, or the grandkids, is one of my favorite ways to relax. And, while I do dislike it, I work out when I feel guilty. In those rare times when the weather’s not nice, I’m likely reading or working on photo projects.
